Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Generally described as clean and well kept in many reviews, but isolated housekeeping lapses reported (dirty tub, hair left from previous guest) reduce the score slightly.

Service

Staff repeatedly praised as friendly, helpful, efficient and welcoming across many reviews; long-term guests and several mentions of exceptional reception justify a top score.

Location

Location is repeatedly described as perfect, ideal, central and unbeatable ('location, location, location', 'bestlage'), warranting a maximum score.

Room Quality

Rooms are described as comfortable but often small; specific issues include tiny bathrooms, separated double mattresses, and some cramped beds for taller guests.

Amenities

Limited in-room amenities noted: no minibar, few power outlets near the bed, reliance on staff/fridge or ice buckets to cool items, occasional noisy AC — generally functional but limited.

Value for Money

Mixed signals: many praise the overall experience and location, but guests mention the breakfast being expensive for its quality and unexpected extra charges (city tax), lowering perceived value.

Experience the charm and elegance of Hotel Saint Germain, where historic beauty meets modern comfort right in the heart of Paris.

Stunning Dining Options

Indulge in our complimentary full breakfast served daily from 7: 00 AM to 10: 00 AM. For those in need of a quick bite, our snack bar/deli and 24-hour room service ensure that culinary delights are always at your fingertips. Unwind with a drink at our cozy bar/lounge after a bustling day exploring the city.
